Aiden Ford: Last month, I was victorious in a gauntlet match to decide who would compete against the winner of a second gauntlet match in an attempt to crown the first ever GCS Heavyweight Champion. Some people say I cheated, but I can guarantee you this: when those people that bitched and moaned when Aiden Ford took the opportunity to win himself a championship match start doing what Aiden Ford did to get that championship match, we'll learn who the real cheaters are! Just like that Raiden Ishimori fella. Sure, I gouged into your eye, and sure, it's probably why you lost ... but did the ref count past five? Exactly. All things are legal in the bindings of a simple ref count, Raiden!
Aiden Ford: But moving on from Raiden Ishimori and his band of do-gooders and teacher's pets, I've found myself in a bit of a predicament. Isaiah Luck, the winner of the A Block gauntlet match, has a lot to say about what "Professional Wrestling" should be. He has a lot to say about how people should give others a certain level of respect that they somehow deserve, but looking through the names of people that he's previously given respect to, I don't buy a single word of his bullshit.
Aiden takes a swig of beer before re-focusing on the camera.
Aiden Ford: The fact of the matter is that this match isn't about the two of us, Isaiah. It's about the Takayama Dojo. It's about one of the two of us bringing the gold home to the team that matters most in this company, and I'm willing to bet that the Takayama Dojo and its students matter most in this entire industry. With that said, Isaiah, it's motherfuckers like you - motherfuckers that bust their ass off and do all of this because it's their passion - that piss me off the most in this world. You know what REAL PASSION looks like, partna'? It looks like someone like Aiden Ford, someone who's worked for this, someone who has put their soul into this and seen nothing in return. It's people like me and my brother, people that did this not because they wanted to, but because they had no other way of providing for their future families. It's people like me, people that wake up every morning in a different country, a country that is completely foreign to them, and still have the drive to become something better than they were in America. It's people like me that gave their day job up just to be told that they were "too fat" and "not a big enough draw" to work a day in this business. It's people like all the men and women in this business that spend countless hours on the road, asking themselves how their kids are doing, if their spouse still loves them, because God knows they haven't seen their families in weeks. People like them - people like me - That's REAL PASSION, partna'!
Aiden Ford: You can say this that and whatever about Aiden Ford, but don't you EVER say he doesn't have passion, bub! Don't you EVER say that Aiden Ford doesn't wake up and work for this not because it's his passion, but because if he doesn't he'll be stuck behind the counter in a God Damned Wendy's in South Carolina with no kids, no car, no fuckin' life! Isaiah Luck, spare me the fuckin' soap opera bullshit, because you ain't done nothin' to earn the right to share your stories with me. Better yet, go back to Takayama and his group of "Young Lions", because I ain't a lion anymore. That "Young Lion" Aiden Ford is dead, and he's been replaced by the GCS Heavyweight Champion.
Ford stares into the camera before leaving the room, his intentions to become heavyweight champion now known, and his new persona "Dead Lion" slowly becoming catchier and catchier in his head.
